Job summary

Lyons Elementary School District 103 is seeking a boys' basketball coach to plan and run practices and games from November through March. This role focuses on developing players' basketball skills and fostering teamwork within a school athletics program.

The coach will communicate progress and needs with students and their parents and operate under the supervision of district athletic leadership during the season.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching or mentoring student-athletes is a plus.
• Strong communication with students and parents is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement skills of the boys' basketball team through practices and games (Nov–Mar).
• Maintain communication with student participants and parents as necessary.

Job description

Responsible for planning, developing, and implementing the skills of students on the boys' basketball competition team through practice and games throughout the season (November thru March); maintaining communication with student participants and parents as necessary. Perform additional related duties within the scope of work as assigned by the District Athletic Director, Principal, or Superintendent.
Compensation: $1,430 / Season
