Job summary

Behavioral Health Services North Inc is seeking a School-Based Clinician for Dorothy Nolan Elmentary School in Queensbury, NY. The position is full-time, about 40 hours per week, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm.

You will provide evidence-based individual, group, and family interventions entirely in school settings, collaborating with school staff and families to support students' mental health and safety. The role supports growth through ongoing training and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling is required.
• LMHC/LMSW/LCSW credentials are preferred.
• Ability to work with children and families.
• Valid NYS driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to coordinate services across school settings.
• Flexible schedule to meet family needs.

Responsibilities

• Engages child/family in a comprehensive assessment of strengths/needs of child and family.
• Develops treatment plans based on assessment of need.
• Provides individual/group/family therapies.
• Facilitates crisis intervention services as clinically needed.
• Meets or exceeds 60% billable direct service.
• Completes collaborative documents as required by state/federal guidelines and agency policies and procedures.
• Collaborates with school personnel.
