Qualifications

• Required: Master’s degree and Texas Assistant Principal or other administrative certification.
• Preferred: Three years’ experience as a campus administrator.

Responsibilities

• Participate in development and evaluation of educational programs.
• Encourage and support development of innovative instructional programs, helping teachers pilot such efforts when appropriate.
• Promote the use of technology in teaching/learning process.
• Promote a positive, caring climate for learning and communicate effectively with students and staff.
• Observe employee performance, conduct evaluation conferences, and assist in interviewing and orienting new staff.
• Supervise operations and participate in scheduling, attendance, safety inspections, and compliance.
