Fort Bend ISD is seeking an Aide for Special Education Resource/Inclusion Services, responsible for providing direct support to students with disabilities across various educational settings. This role includes executing behavioral strategies and assisting in personal care as required.
The ideal candidate must have at least 48 college hours or a passing score on the Para Professional assessment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and communication skills is essential. The position requires attendance at conferences and may involve lifting and physical intervention as necessary.
The Aide Special Education Resource/Inclusion Services, will provide direct support/services to students with disabilities in a variety of educational settings in order to access the curriculum in the student’s least restrictive environment. The incumbent will assist teacher and staff in performing a variety of tasks by implementing and/or documenting the student’s Individualized Education Plan, including academics, behavior, communication, social and personal care skills. The incumbent will maintain an environment that is safe and engaging for all students.
