Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing seeks an Elementary School Adjustment Counselor for the 2026-2027 school year to support students' social, emotional, and academic development across multiple elementary sites in Keene, NH. This 35-hour-per-week contract runs from August 26, 2026, through June 15, 2027, with a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • NH certification eligibility: School Counselor (NH 0040) or School Psychologist (NH 0046).
  • NH certification eligibility: Associate School Psychologist (NH 0047) or School Social Worker (NH 0049).
  • Experience in providing age-appropriate mental health services in a school setting.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide counseling services to elementary students and families.
  • Collaborate with four elementary schools with assigned percentages.
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans.
  • Maintain clear communication with teachers, administrators, and families.
  • Document interventions and progress in a timely manner.
