Manteno Elementary School is seeking a Run Club Sponsor to lead a school-sponsored activity, guiding student engagement, leadership development, personal growth, and academic success. The sponsor will supervise and mentor participants, coordinating meetings and events with staff and families.

The role emphasizes collaboration with administrators, parents, and community members, maintaining professionalism, and promoting positive behavior and school values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Familiarity with club objectives and activities.
• Ability to motivate, instruct, and supervise students.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with administrators, students, parents, and community members.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification or ability to obtain on hire.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and encourage student participation in the club.
• Instruct, supervise, and develop student participants.
• Promote student leadership, teamwork, and positive behavior.
• Plan meetings, activities, and events supporting club goals.
• Guide project planning and execution for competitions and events.
• Prepare students for competitions and performances; oversee related activities.
