St. Helen Catholic School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida is seeking to hire a full time Religion Teacher for the 2026-27 academic year to teach at the Elementary level. This candidate should be professional, disciplined and a team player. The teacher will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate Religion instructional program for assigned grades. The candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary will vary based on education and years of experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies, Theology, or related field.
• Florida Department of Education Teaching certificate is recommended, temporary or professional.
• Must obtain Catechetical certification from the Archdiocese of Miami Office of Catechesis within three years of hire.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong presentation skills with use of instructional technologies.

• Knowledge of tenets of Catholic Church and parish structures.
