Job summary

Capital School District is seeking two Title I paraprofessionals for the 2026-2027 school year at Central Elementary School. The positions are part-time for 10 months and report to the Building Principal.

Qualified candidates must hold a Paraprofessional Certification through DEEDS and be Highly Qualified with strong content knowledge of elementary education. Duties include providing coverage and supporting instructional efforts in reading and math, with data collection and record-keeping

Qualifications

Must have a Paraprofessional Certification through DEEDS.
Must be Highly Qualified and strong content knowledge of elementary education.

Responsibilities

Provide coverage as needed.
Assist with planning and implementing instructional and intervention strategies for elementary students in reading and/or math.
Use developmentally appropriate strategies, materials, and technologies, as directed, to accomplish instructional objectives.
Establishes and maintains rapport with learners.
Uses effective strategies for the management of behavior.
Follows written plans, seeking clarification as needed.
Collects and provides objective, accurate data and information to professionals, as appropriate.
Maintains updated records and clerical responsibilities as assigned.
Additional duties as assigned.
