Job summary

King’s Schools in Shoreline, WA is seeking a part-time Playground Attendant to supervise recess and ensure student safety with a supportive, faith-based environment. You will enforce playground rules, support positive behavior, and maintain equipment, reporting any hazards to staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CPR/FIRST AID/AED training or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Previous experience working with children.

Responsibilities

• Provide active supervision during recess to ensure safety and wellbeing of students.
• Build positive relationships with students and reinforce expected behaviors.
• Review and reteach game and activity rules with students as outlined by the PE teacher.
• Meet with the PE teacher for instruction on prescribed games and activities.
• Prepare, maintain and store playground equipment; report damaged items promptly.
• Model professionalism and Christian character while fostering a positive school culture.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Principal and Assistant Principal.
