Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Valid state teaching certification for elementary education (K–5).
• Demonstrated knowledge of child development and instructional best practices.
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Proficiency with educational technology and digital learning tools.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons across core subject areas.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
• Assess student progress regularly and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and needs.
• Collaborate with grade-level teams, specialists, and support staff.
• Coordinate with special education staff and co-teachers, as needed, to support diverse learners.
• Implement classroom management strategies that promote respect and responsibility.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and school activities.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with district policies and procedures.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality of student, family, and staff information.
