Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Meet and instruct assigned classes at designated times and locations.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
• Prepare for classes and show evidence of preparation upon request.
• Encourage appropriate classroom behavior.
• Use instructional techniques and media suited to students’ needs.
• Protect students, equipment, and facilities.
• Evaluate student progress regularly.
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with policy and law.
• Assist in school rules and policies.
• Be available to students/parents outside instructional hours when needed.
• Attend faculty meetings and participate in planning.
• Collaborate with staff on instructional goals and methods.
• Assist in selecting books and materials.
• Maintain professional relations with others.
• Communicate openly with students' parents about academics and behavior.
