Job summary

Welder Elementary School is seeking an Auxiliary - Position - Aide to support a certified physical education teacher by delivering a safe, inclusive program, assisting with activities, supervising students, and preparing equipment.

Under direct supervision, you will handle routine administrative tasks, maintain equipment safety, and help with student management during classes, field days, and activities, while following district procedures.

Qualifications

• Assist in following teacher-developed lesson plans and safety procedures.
• Support student management and supervision during PE activities.
• Maintain equipment and prepare instructional materials as directed.

Responsibilities

• Work under supervision of the PE teacher to implement lesson plans.
• Prepare, organize, distribute, and restore PE equipment and materials.
• Assist students individually or in groups while maintaining safety and positive behavior.
• Communicate with students, staff, parents, and the public as appropriate.
• Assist with routine clerical tasks and equipment records.
