Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 48 semester college credits OR a passing score on one paraprofessional assessment (see options).
• Preferred: related college courses or training and experience working with children.

Responsibilities

• Meets regularly with the teacher for planning and progress evaluation.
• Assists in developing learning activities with the teacher.
• Assists in guiding students and providing supervision and escort as needed.
• Prepares learning activities and materials under teacher direction.
