Job summary

Clinton Central School Corporation is seeking a part-time Elementary Lunchroom Supervisor to oversee lunchtime operations at Clinton Central Elementary School. The role covers 10:30 AM to 12:45 PM during 180 contract days, assisting with food service tasks and student supervision.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent and be able to communicate effectively with students and staff, maintaining order and safety throughout lunch periods.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Ability to work effectively with a wide range of students, staff and administration.
• Strong human relations skills, including tact, diplomacy and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Cafeteria Staff and Custodial Staff.
• Supervise lunch periods for students in Early Kindergarten through 6th Grade (10:30 AM to 12:45 PM).
• Assist students with opening packaged food, as needed.
• Ensure students remain in seats and maintain an appropriate volume.
• Dismissing students to trash, collect trays, and line up to leave.
• Oversee dismissal from the lunchroom and direct students to recess or classrooms.
• Wipe tables between lunch periods with approved cleaning materials.
• Sweep or mop spills during lunch periods.
• After lunches, clean the cafeteria: wipe tables, sweep floors, and remove trash.
