Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum HS Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree or teaching certificate preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport with students and collaborate with staff.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Implement and deliver daily instructional plans in alignment with district curriculum and teacher guidance.
• Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and maintain classroom routines and expectations.
• Foster a safe, respectful, and supportive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and learning.
• Collaborate with grade-level or subject-area teams, administrators, and families as needed.
• Maintain accurate attendance and records in accordance with district policy.
• Manage classroom transitions, student behavior, and instructional pacing.
• Participate in school-based duties such as planning time and team meetings.
• Uphold all school policies, FERPA guidelines, and emergency procedures.
