Great Hearts Academies in Apache Junction, AZ, seeks an Elementary Lead Teacher (grades 3-5) for Fall 2027 to guide students toward intellectual and moral growth using the Great Hearts curriculum. You will collaborate with an Assistant/Apprentice Teacher to deliver engaging lessons and maintain an orderly, joyful classroom.

Responsibilities include monitoring student progress, communicating with families, and partnering with school leadership to address academic or behavioral needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required for lead teaching roles.
• All majors are welcome for general education roles.
• US work authorization is required; OPT/CPT accepted.
• Criminal history background check and fingerprint clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned classes using the Great Hearts curriculum and materials, delivering thoughtful lessons and maintaining an orderly, joyful classroom.
• Monitor student progress and collaborate with school leadership to address academic or behavioral needs promptly.
• Uphold Great Hearts culture, policies, dress code, conduct and safety procedures.
• Communicate clearly with families, initiating conferences as needed and fostering strong home–school partnerships.
