Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with experience in modeling instruction in elementary school core content areas preferred.
• Proven record of excellence as a classroom teacher with evidence-based reading programming training preferred (mClass, Reading Horizons, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Review student data, test scores, and classroom performance to pinpoint specific academic or behavioral weaknesses.
• Teaching specialized lessons - often focused heavily on foundational reading (phonics, fluency) or math skills.
• Regularly test and track student data to determine if the intervention strategy is working.
• Meet with general education teachers, school administrators, and parents to discuss student growth and adjust learning plans.
• Other related duties as assigned by the Principal.
