Job summary

Elementary is seeking an Instructional Coach for the 2026-2027 school year in Wichita Falls, TX. The role reports to the campus principal and works within the campus to enhance literacy and math instruction across grades PK-6.

The incumbent will model lessons, provide resources, analyze assessment data with teachers, and support tiered interventions while collaborating with administrators and the curriculum coordinator. Salary and benefits align with the district teacher salary schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Valid Texas Elementary Teaching certificate for elementary grades PK-6.
• Three years or more of successful teaching experience in elementary grades in a core subject.

Responsibilities

• Researches and provides content knowledge and resources to staff about learning and teaching such as strategies, best practices, assessment techniques and data interpretation.
• Coaches staff through demonstrations, PLCs, and professional learning groups to improve instructional practices.
• Partners with campus leadership to analyze student performance data by school and by teacher to guide instructional decisions.
• Supports teachers with designing instruction based on assessment data and implements tiered interventions for identified students.
• Maintains confidential relationships with teachers and supports professional development activities.
• Collaborates with curriculum coordinators and campus administrators to advance school improvement goals.

Education

Bachelor’s degree

Valid Texas Elementary Teaching certificate for elementary grade level(s) (PK-6) in core subjects

Three years or more of successful teaching experience in elementary grade level(s) in a core subject assignment
