Job summary

San Juan Unified School District is seeking an Elementary Instructional Assistant for Calendar 18A (9 months/year, 206 days, 5 days/week) at Dyer Kelly site. Position is part-time, 6 hours per day, 7:45 AM to 2:15 PM, with salary between $19.51 and $25.69 per hour.

Candidates should have experience with mild/moderate needs and be prepared to attach required documents; pre-qualifications may include CBEST, transcripts, or degree, and willing to obtain CA driver's license within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Experience with mild/moderate needs in Resource, Learning Handicap or Communicatively Handicap programs.
• Ability to run small groups and support teachers.
• Willingness to obtain a California Class C Driver License within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Run small groups and assist students in large groups.
• Support the teacher's needs in both Special Day Class and General Education settings.
