Job summary

The role follows a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, supporting core academic subjects and school-wide initiatives. The ideal candidate holds NJ certification for Elementary K-6 or Middle School 5-8, has Elementary experience, strong classroom management, and skill in instructional planning and differentiation.

Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey Elementary School Teacher K 6 Certification and/or New Jersey Middle School 5 8 Endorsement.
• Substitute Teacher Certification is not accepted.
• Experience teaching elementary-aged students.
• Strong classroom management and instructional planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver standards-aligned instruction in core academic subjects.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that support student achievement.
• Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Assess student performance and monitor academic progress.
• Differentiate instruction to meet individual learning needs.
• Maintain accurate student records, grades, and documentation.
• Implement classroom management strategies that promote student success.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
• Collaborate with administrators, teachers, and support staff.
• Participate in meetings, professional development, and school activities.
• Support students' academic, social, and emotional growth.
• Ensure compliance with school policies, curriculum standards, and educational requirements.
