Job summary

The Greater Nebraska Schools Hiring Consortium is seeking a part-time Food Service Worker at Fort Calhoun Elementary School. Regular hours are 8:00 am – 1:30 pm every Friday while school is in session, with optional fill-in hours available.

The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, serve lunches, and maintain cleanliness. This is a great opportunity to join an energetic and hardworking team!

Qualifications

• Ability to assist in food preparation.
• Experience in serving and cleaning in a food service environment is preferred.
• Capacity to lift heavy items such as full pans and food boxes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for serving and ensure it meets safety standards.
• Serve lunch to students in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining area.
• Assist in cleaning dishes and equipment after service.
