Job summary

Hanover Public School District is seeking an Elementary ELL Teaching Assistant for a 10-month, full-time schedule. The role divides time between Clearview Elementary and Washington Elementary, working 7 hours daily to support small groups under the ELL teacher and to assist with clerical tasks.

Pay starts at $14.06 per hour, with the offered rate based on experience and internal equity. Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Must meet Highly Qualified status with two years of post-secondary education OR high school diploma/equivalent and satisfactory completion of the CAPE test.

Job Description

This is a 10-month, full-time, school-term only position working 7 hours per day, split between Clearview Elementary and Washington Elementary. The position is responsible for providing academic support to small groups of students under the supervision of the ELL teacher, in addition to providing clerical support as needed. Pay rate is at least $14.06 per hour minimum. Offered rate will be based on experience and internal equity. Proficient bilingual English/Spanish skills highly preferred.
