Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a candidate who brings not only technical expertise but also a passion for education and student success. Our ideal candidate must:

• Master's degree in Elementary Education.
• Or a master’s degree in elementary education, early childhood education, educational curriculum development, exceptional student education and/or field related to education and instruction.
• Must hold a valid Florida Professional Educator Certification(s) (Not endorsements) in one or more of the following: Elementary Education (K-6), Reading (K-12), English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), Exceptional Student Education (K-12), and/or Reading (K-12).
• In addition to the minimum qualifications listed for the positions, applicants must be able to work in any clinical settings.
• All prospective faculty are expected to demonstrate the following characteristics:
• Commitment to student retention and success
• Commitment to development and assessment of student learning
• Use of technology and innovative approaches to enhance teaching and learning, including distance learning and alternative delivery systems.
• Willingness to support a diverse population of learners inside and beyond the classroom
