Qualifications

• NJ Instructional Certification and/or Subject Matter Specialization Endorsement or eligibility.
• Demonstrates knowledge of effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate classroom activities.
• Ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Background check and U.S. citizenship/residency proof required.

Responsibilities

• Instructs to meet state standards and district goals using approved curricula.
• Develops lesson plans and adapts instruction for individual and small groups.
• Sets objectives in lesson preparation and ensures achievement of these objectives.
• Analyzes student data to drive instruction and monitor progress.
• Maintains records of student progress and reports findings.
