Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Meet and instruct assigned classes at the assigned school and at times designated by Principal
  • Plan a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests and abilities of the students
  • Lessons are aligned to standards and represent a coherent sequence of learning
  • Assess the accomplishments of students on a regular basis and provide progress reports
  • Maintain accurate, complete and correct records as required by law, district policy and administrative regulation
  • Communicate effectively with families/guardians and participate in staff meetings and committees

Education

Bachelor's degree in Education or higher
Mississippi Teaching Credential
Emergency teaching certification (Mississippi Educational Board)
