Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with valid Texas teaching certificate.
• Demonstrated competency in the subject area and instructional planning.
• Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with TEKS and state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to district curriculum and TEKS.
• Use varied instructional strategies to engage diverse learners.
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula for IEPs.
• Plan and use technology to strengthen teaching and student engagement.
• Conduct conferences with parents and maintain professional communication.
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain records.
• Participate in professional development and stay current with TEKS changes.
