Job summary

Applitrack is seeking a Building Aide to support our elementary school environment at Tonganoxie Elementary School. The role focuses on maintaining a safe, structured setting and assisting administrators, staff, and students throughout the day.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, hold a Health and Inoculation Certificate, and demonstrate a genuine desire to develop skills on the job.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Health and Inoculation Certificate must be on file after offer.
• Desire to continue career improvement by enhancing skills and job performance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in establishing a safe and structured environment for students.
• Respond to individual needs of students per district guidelines.
• Communicate and work effectively with school district staff and community.
• Respond to changes and interruptions in a productive manner.
• Support the district's vision and mission in daily activities.
• Supervise students, particularly in the lunchroom, and assist with drop off/pick up.
• Assist building office staff and collaborate with teachers, parents, and community groups.
