Job summary

Sigourney Community School District is seeking an Elementary Associate for the 2026-2027 school year to start immediately.

This 6.75-hour/day position supports our K-6 education program by assisting classroom teachers and special education staff, working with individual students and small groups to help meet instructional goals. Start Date: August 24, 2026; Rate of Pay is based on the Non-Certified Salary Schedule. Criminal History Background Check required. Open until filled.

Qualifications

• Experience as Elementary Associate or paraprofessional is a plus, but not required
