Job summary

McAllen Independent School District’s Escandon Elementary School in McAllen, Texas, is seeking a 2026-27 Assistant Principal for the elementary campus. The candidate will support the principal in administering the instructional program, supervise staff, and promote a positive school climate with strong family and community engagement.

Qualifications

Master’s Degree required.
Texas Principal’s Certificate or Texas Mid-Management Certificate required.
Three years of classroom teaching experience required.
Strong communication and data interpretation skills.

Responsibilities
