Qualifications

• Knowledge of current art instructional teaching methods and educational pedagogy.
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• Hold an Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) as required by the State.
• Familiar with computer use, including electronic mail and Google Classroom.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with students and parents.

Responsibilities

• Develop and administer school art curriculum consistent with district goals.
• Create lesson plans and instructional materials for engaging learning experiences.
• Evaluate each student's performance and growth, preparing progress reports.
• Encourage parental involvement and ensure effective communication.
• Teach proper care and use of tools used in art classes.
