Position Type: Full-time, 10-month teaching position
Reports to: Judaic Studies Principal

Position Summary

The Rebbe is a key member of the Judaic Studies team, responsible for imbuing students with a love of Yiddishkeit while ensuring each child’s academic growth and success. Class sizes are generally smaller, allowing for meaningful relationships, individualized instruction, and the ability to meet students where they are.

The Rebbe fosters a warm, nurturing classroom environment rooted in Torah values, where students feel supported, engaged, and inspired. This role includes teaching core Judaic subjects, assessing student progress, differentiating instruction, and collaborating with colleagues and administration to support the whole child—academically, socially, and spiritually. An added component is for the Rebbe to create opportunities for additional student engagement outside of school to build kesharim and school pride.

The ideal candidate is passionate about Chinuch, committed to student-centered learning, and dedicated to creating a positive and growth-oriented classroom culture.
