Epstein Hebrew Academy in Olivette, MO is seeking a full-time Rebbe to teach Judaic studies to students from ECC–8th grade. The position emphasizes individualized instruction, building Torah-based relationships, and fostering growth in academics and character. Start date is August 1, 2026.
The Rebbe will collaborate with the Judaic Studies Principal and colleagues to support the whole child, including activities outside the classroom to strengthen community and school pride.

The Rebbe is a key member of the Judaic Studies team, responsible for imbuing students with a love of Yiddishkeit while ensuring each child’s academic growth and success. Class sizes are generally smaller, allowing for meaningful relationships, individualized instruction, and the ability to meet students where they are.
The Rebbe fosters a warm, nurturing classroom environment rooted in Torah values, where students feel supported, engaged, and inspired. This role includes teaching core Judaic subjects, assessing student progress, differentiating instruction, and collaborating with colleagues and administration to support the whole child—academically, socially, and spiritually. An added component is for the Rebbe to create opportunities for additional student engagement outside of school to build kesharim and school pride.
