Job summary

West Virginia K-12 Jobs is seeking an Academic Interventionist for Baileysville Elementary and Middle School. This contract/hourly role provides targeted intervention to identified students and works with teachers, the principal, and the county curriculum department to tailor strategies.

You will implement county intervention models, participate in professional development, and ensure timely submission of required documents.

Qualifications

• A valid West Virginia Teaching Certificate.
• Minimum Five (5) years teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide intervention services to identified students needing additional instruction.
• Collaborate with core and support teachers, school principal, and county curriculum department to analyze student performance data and plan intervention strategies.
• Participate in and utilize professional development relevant to instructional delivery of a high quality standards-based program.
• Implement and follow the county model in the delivery of instructional intervention strategies.
• Submit required documents in a timely manner.
