Tech Etch in Plymouth, MA is seeking a hands-on Plating Supervisor to lead our Finishing team across 1st and 2nd shifts. You will coach, prioritize work, and ensure precise, high-quality plating in a fast-paced technical environment.

Translate daily schedules into staffing, monitor chemistry and equipment, partner with Engineering on improvements, and maintain training records and performance notes. Tech Etch is an employee-owned company offering growth, ESOP, and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in plating or chemical finishing; minimum 2 years in a supervisory role.

Plating Supervisor | Shift: 1st Shift (Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM- 3:30PM) and 2nd Shift (Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM)

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Lead and develop Finishing Department Leads; conduct coaching sessions and performance reviews.
• Translate daily production schedules into clear priorities and staffing assignments.
• Monitor plating chemistry, equipment condition, and in-process inspections to hit quality metrics.
• Partner with Engineering on process enhancements, equipment repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain accurate electronic records (training logs, payroll, performance notes) and report key metrics.

WHO YOU ARE

• 5+ years in plating or chemical finishing; minimum 2 years in a supervisory role.

Salary Range: $70,000- $95,000 annually.

This is the full salary range for the position. Most new hires can expect to start around $70,000.

Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, education, and internal equity.
