Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking an Allied Health Professional / Electrophysiology Technician for an onsite contract in Alaska. Expect four 10-hour shifts weekly with 70 guaranteed hours biweekly. Start ASAP with 13-week or 26-week assignments.

Salary combines weekly stipend and base pay, with 70 hours guaranteed every two weeks. Qualifications include 2 years of experience, BLS and ACLS certifications, and ability to float within the EP/Cath lab as needed.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in an EP lab or related cath lab role.
  • ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

  • Accurate monitoring of patient status during EP procedures.
  • Equipment setup and sterile field maintenance.
  • Perform EKG lead placement.
  • Recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and respond.
  • Scrub and assist with cath lab procedures.

Certs REQ: BLS, ACLS
Skills REQ: Per UD
Is on-call REQ: There is call for EP but it is only from 6-8pm if they have gone home for the day. Otherwise they are basically the late team and stay until cases are finished. Most of the time they don t stat late and very rarely called back after they leave (I think maybe 3x in 10 years!!)
Weekend REQ: Some Satudays are required for regular shifts - this will not be an extra shift but part of the 4 schedules shifts for the week.
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs?: If needed may float to like units
Open to accommodating block schedule?: Yes
Locals Accepted: No - Candidates perm address must be at least 50 miles from facility
Pending License Accepted: N/a
RTO Restrictions: Time off approved on an individual basis upon offer. All RTO must be included in submittal
Guaranteed Hours: 70 Hours per 2 weeks - Traveler can be called off for 1, 10-hour shift per 2 weeks

Diagnostic Cardiac Cath, Interventional Cardiac Cath, STEMI, IABP, Impella, Tandem Heart, Structural Heart (PFO, TAVR, Mitral Clip)
Interventional Radiology: Lines, Drains, Embolizations, Lower/upper extremities, Fistulas, Visceral Angio/intervention, Stroke Thrombectomy.
