Job summary

Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, AZ is seeking an Electrophysiology Technician (EP Tech) for full-time day shift. The role involves supporting electrophysiology and cardiac procedures, ensuring equipment readiness and patient safety.

You will participate in pre-, during, and post-procedure care, and handle equipment troubleshooting with a focus on regulatory compliance. Ideal candidates have formal health-science training or an associate degree and 0–2 years in EP or cath lab settings.

Qualifications

• Certification or degree in health science or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in electrophysiology or cardiac care.
• Knowledge of electrophysiology procedures and ACLS basics.

Responsibilities

• Assist Electrophysiologist during electrophysiology procedures.
• Monitor patient status and manage hemodynamics during procedures.
• Operate and troubleshoot electrophysiology equipment.
• Provide pre- and post-procedural patient care and instruction.
• Maintain radiation safety and record-keeping accuracy.
• Remain on-call and ensure room readiness.
