Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join its Electrophysiology team in North Carolina. The role supports inpatient and outpatient care with a hybrid schedule, offering a sign-on bonus and a strong benefits package.

The ideal candidate has cardiology or electrophysiology experience, NC licensure, prescriptive privileges, and NCCPA or acute care NP certification, with 1+ years in cardiology preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in cardiology and/or electrophysiology.
• Current license to practice as NP or PA in North Carolina.
• Prescriptive privileges and DEA license required.
• NCCPA certification for Physician Assistants or Acute Care NP certification for NPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial/periodic medical history, exams, and daily assessments.
• Write prescriptions and administer medications.
• Order/interpret lab and radiology tests; determine treatment plans.
• Document encounters and contribute to group meetings and policy development.
