Job summary

HCA Florida Ocala Hospital seeks an experienced electrophysiologist to join their established, employed EP program and participate in ongoing growth of cardiac services.

Candidates must be board-certified in cardiology with EP certification or eligibility and have proven expertise in pacemakers, AICD, left atrial appendage occlusion, AF/SVT/AV nodal/VT ablations. The role includes teaching opportunities with UCF and a strong support system.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in cardiology; EP board-eligible or certified.
• Experience required for an established EP program.
• 100% EP; no general cardiology duties.
• Proficient in pacemakers, AICD, LAA occlusion, AF/SVT/AV nodal/VT ablations.
• Collaborative team with anesthesiology and CVICU support.
• Renovated $15M procedural lab; expanded EP labs and mapping tech.

Responsibilities

• Join an established electrophysiology practice within an expanding program.
• Deliver comprehensive EP services, ablations and device therapies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in teaching.

Positioned for continued growth in cardiac services, HCA Florida Ocala Hospital seeks an experienced electrophysiologist to join their established, employed practice.

Qualified Candidates

• Candidates must board certified in cardiology and board certified / board eligible in electrophysiology
• Experience required
• Position is 100% EP / NO general cardiology
• The incoming provider should be proficient in permanent pacemakers, biventricular / AICD, left atrial appendage occlusion, a-fib ablation, SVT ablation, AV node ablation and VT ablation
• Experienced and established cardiac anesthesiologists, CVICU and collaborative interdisciplinary team to produce the highest possible quality and outcomes
• Recently renovated $15M procedural lab
• 2 new EP Labs with Phillips Azuron7 x-ray equipment, Biosense Webster Carto Mapping system, Abbott-Ensite Mapping, Q-Dot and ability to expand to new technology for Pulse Field Ablations
