Responsibilities
Administers ionizing radiation using imaging modalities for highly specialized radiographic procedures. Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan, assesses patient data, and interprets information relative to age‑specific needs. Participates in a virtual interview process where recorded responses may be reviewed by staff.
EP Lab Description
Mayo Clinic Arizona’s electrophysiology (EP) lab focuses on collaboration and growth. The team performs complex electrophysiology studies, ablations, and device implants in a highly specialized environment.
Key Focus Areas
- Pacemaker implants
- Defibrillator implants
- Biventricular device implants
- Lead extractions
- Electrophysiology studies and ablatives: SVT, VT, atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, PVC, AV node
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Graduate from an accredited radiography program
Preferred Qualifications
- One year experience as an interventional radiology or cardiac cath lab technologist preferred
- Experience as an interventional radiology, cardiac cath, or electrophysiology lab technologist
- Ability to improvise standard procedures
- Ability to work independently and in a team, directing patient flow for operational efficiency
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Licensing and Certification
- ARRT‑R and Arizona CRT required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire and maintained thereafter
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire
- CV, CI, VI, RCIS or RCES required within two years of hire
- Certification in Cardiac or Vascular Intervention by the ARRT preferred

- Schedule Details: As needed hours 0700‑1730, 10‑hour shifts; stay late as needed for procedures
- Weekend Schedule: No weekends required; no call required, but available

- Site Description: Locations include Phoenix/Scottsdale, Arizona; Jacksonville, Florida; Rochester, Minnesota; and various Mayo Clinic Health System campuses in Midwestern communities.
