Job summary

Overlake Medical Center seeks an EP RN or Technologist to assist the Electrophysiologist in complex EP procedures and provide clinical and technology support in mapping and treatment of arrhythmias.

The role involves scrub, circulate, and monitoring during procedures, with potential support to cardiology and radiology teams in the Cath Lab and Vascular IR. Strong EP lab credentials and CME commitments are expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or radiology/cardio tech certificate required; equivalent experience may be considered.
• CPR and ACLS certification required.
• ARRT(R) RT certification; RCIS or RCES if CVT/EP technician track; RCIS/RCES within 6 months of hire.
• EP Tech I: 1+ year EP lab or cath lab experience required; EP Tech II: 3+ years EP lab experience required.
• CEPS through IBHRE required for EP Tech II. CME: 24 credits bi-annually.
• Familiar with CRT and intracardiac ultrasound procedures.
• Knowledge of arrhythmia mapping, device therapy, and catheter manipulation.

Responsibilities

• Assist EP physicians in complex electrophysiology procedures.
• Scrub, circulate, and monitor during EP procedures.
• Support cardiologists and radiologists in diagnostic/interventional procedures in Cath Lab and Vascular IR.
