Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a Staff Process Development Engineer to lead EP catheter manufacturing programs. You will serve as the SME, drive manufacturability improvements, and ensure smooth technology transfer from development to scalable production across sites.

The role requires 8+ years in medical device manufacturing, with 4–5 years focused on EP catheters, and a strong background in process characterisation, DOE, and regulatory validation.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of hands‑on experience in medical device manufacturing/process development.
  • 4–5 years dedicated to Electrophysiology catheter manufacturing or complex steerable catheter programs.
  • In‑depth knowledge of catheter manufacturing methods: polymer reflow, braiding, tipping, laser welding, micro‑soldering, electrical termination, sensor/electrode assembly.
  • Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Act as SME for EP catheter manufacturing processes and guide cross‑functional teams.
  • Design, develop, and establish standard manufacturing platforms for next‑gen EP technologies.
  • Lead complex process capability studies and DOE to establish robust operating windows.
  • Collaborate with R&D Product Development to optimize complex catheter configurations for manufacturability.
  • Author and execute IQ/OQ/PQ protocols and oversee equipment validation for specialized assembly.
  • Lead CAPA and root‑cause analyses to resolve MRB/NCMR issues.
