Hartford Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join the EP team, providing procedural care support and a range of radiologic diagnostic procedures while maintaining patient safety and radiation protection. Responsibilities include scrubbing, circulating, monitoring, and ensuring proper documentation in RIS and PACS.

The role emphasizes adherence to ALARA principles, collaboration with physicians, and participation in performance improvement initiatives.

Qualificações

• Graduate from an accredited Radiology program.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Two years staff radiology technology experience preferred.
• 1 year of Cardiac Interventional Experience preferred.
• Active CT State Radiographer license.
• ARRT Registry – Radiography (R).
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI) - preferred.
• RCIS by CCI - preferred (if applicable).

Responsabilidades

• Perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures with appropriate exposure factors to produce quality images.
• Scrub, circulate and monitor during procedures using sterile technique.
• Record and document procedure data into RIS and transfer annotated images to PACS.
• Review orders and patient information to ensure proper preparation and procedure.
• Apply radiation safety practices and comply with regulatory standards.
• Support performance improvement and quality initiatives.
• Supervise radiology students during clinical rotations.
