Job summary

AMN Healthcare seeks an Electrophysiology Cardiology Physician for locum tenens coverage in Mishawaka, IN. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., full-time with no call. 60% outpatient and 40% inpatient, with responsibilities including ablations and device management.

Start date ASAP; credentialing ~2 weeks. Board certification required; active Indiana license or IMLC eligibility necessary. Epic EMR used for documentation. AMN provides malpractice insurance and travel/lodging support.

Qualifications

• Board certified in Cardiology.
• Active Indiana license or IMLC eligibility.
• Locum-tenens eligibility and availability to start ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrophysiology cardiology coverage for outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Perform electrophysiology procedures and device management (ablations, ICDs, pacemakers, cardioversions, TEEs).
• Coordinate care with hospital staff and document in Epic.

This facility is seeking a Electrophysiology Cardiology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., full-time, no call.

Practice Setting: Outpatient and inpatient (60% outpatient, 40% inpatient).

Types of Cases: Electrophysiology, including ablations, implantable cardioverter defibrillators, pacemakers, cardioversions, and transesophageal echocardiograms.

Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 2 weeks.

Electronic Medical Record: Epic.

Certifications Required: Board Certification in Cardiology.

Licensure Required: Active Indiana license, Interstate Medical Licensure Compact eligibility, or new Indiana license candidate.
