Job summary

Dignity Health Medical Group is seeking an Electrophysiology/General Cardiology Advanced Practitioner in Prescott, AZ. Work with an Electrophysiologist to perform pre‑procedure assessments, educate patients on procedures, risks, and post‑care, and coordinate care from prep to follow‑up in a fast‑paced clinical setting.

The role requires PA or NP credentials with Cardiology experience (3+ years), AZ licensure, and DEA registration, plus team collaboration with nurses and physicians.

Qualifications

• PA: Degree as a Physician Assistant.
• PA: Active or eligible AZ license.
• PA: Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• PA: Minimum 3 years Cardiology PA experience, acute setting preferred.
• PA: Valid DEA registration.
• NP: Master’s Degree in nursing (NP track).
• NP: Active or eligible AZ license or compact state RN license.
• NP: Surgical First Assist certification.
• NP: Minimum 3 years Cardiology NP experience, acute setting preferred.
• NP: National NP certification (AACN/AANP/ANCC/PNCB).
• NP: Valid DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate daily with Electrophysiologist for pre‑procedure evaluations and chart review.
• Educate patients and families about heart procedures, risks and post‑care.
• Coordinate patient care from prep to recovery and follow‑up, ensuring continuity.
