Geisinger Heart & Vascular Institute seeks a BC/BE Electrophysiologist for a full‑time opportunity to join Geisinger’s Northeast Region locations.
The ideal candidate will be a fellowship‑trained Electrophysiologist supported by an integrated system‑wide team of EP physicians. The Northeast team consists of 3 EP physicians, 5 advanced practitioners, 3 dedicated EP labs, and a full array of cardiology/cardiothoracic surgery services. The position allows for clinical research and the opportunity to teach CCEP fellows.
Geisinger Heart & Vascular Institute spans a 45‑county service area and offers care in 5 acute care tertiary/quaternary hospitals, 4 community hospitals, and numerous outreach locations. It features accredited chest pain centers, a nationally recognized regional STEMI PCI network, complex arrhythmia ablation, a full range of coronary, vascular, and structural heart interventions, and an advanced heart failure program. Team members participate in outcomes and population‑based research through the Geisinger Center for Health Research; molecular, cellular, and genomics research at the Siegfried and Janet Weis Center for Health Research; and trials of new drugs, devices, and techniques through the Geisinger Center for Clinical Studies. The Institute serves as an educational venue for five cardiology fellows and advanced fourth‑year cardiology fellows, an annual Cardiology Symposium, and frequent CME lectures.
