Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in the United States seeks a Relay Technician to ensure Beckwith products operate correctly after testing and during servicing before shipment. The role involves testing, calibration, and hands-on repair with some independent work and overtime as needed.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of relay/test experience and a 2-year Engineering Technology degree; proficiency with automated test equipment and fault isolation is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

  • Relay Technician with a minimum of 3 years' experience and an accredited 2-year college degree in engineering technology or related subject.
  • Experience with testing and calibration of digital relay and/or controls.
  • In lieu of degree/relay experience, equivalent experience in the repair of digital/analog circuits, power supplies and system level devices.
  • Experience with automated test equipment and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform tests and repairs to assure product performance before shipping.
  • Operate automated test equipment.
  • Troubleshoot shorts or missing parts visually.
  • Maintain clean manufacturing area.
  • Assist with Board Assembly, Final Assembly, Stockroom and Shipping as needed.
  • Set up and prepare workstations.
