Job summary

Kreuter Manufacturing Co. Inc is seeking an Electronics Technician to perform electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical testing, troubleshooting, repair, and documentation on their products.

You will support product quality, manufacturing performance, and engineering investigations, contributing to problem resolution in production or customer returns. Responsibilities include reading schematics, operating test equipment, and collaborating with engineers and quality teams to improve yields

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics, electrical engineering technology, or a related technical field; or an equivalent combination of education, technical training, and relevant experience.
• At least one year of related electronics testing, troubleshooting, repair, or manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Experience reading electronic schematics, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and technical specifications.
• Experience using digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, signal generators, and related electronic test equipment.
• IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, soldering, or related electronics certifications are preferred but not required unless assigned by KMC Controls.

Responsibilities

• Review work orders, test schedules, procedures, wiring diagrams, schematics, and controlled documents to determine test methods and equipment.
• Conduct functional and electrical testing of assemblies and finished products to verify specs and diagnose failures.
• Test under environmental conditions such as temperature, vibration, pressure, and humidity.
• Set up, operate, verify, and calibrate test instruments per procedures and specs.
• Read test measurements (voltage, current, frequency, resistance, etc.) and document data.
• Compare results to specs and record data in required systems and documents.
• Troubleshoot assemblies to component or circuit level and perform approved repairs or rework.
• Develop, modify, or maintain test programs, methods, fixtures, and equipment.
