Job Description

This position involves performing a variety of test operations, utilizing both written and verbal instructions. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Performing test operations: Utilizing test methods and written or verbal instructions as required.
  2. Obtaining reference documentation: Accessing necessary documentation (Test Methods, Specification Drawings, Schematics) for test execution.
  3. Setting up test equipment: Setting up and operating all necessary equipment for testing and troubleshooting production equipment.
  4. Performing tests on production models: Collaborating with Manufacturing and Design Engineering to ensure a smooth transition to production.
  5. Fault isolation: Making adjustments and removing components for fault identification.
  6. Operating automated test systems: Utilizing test software for automated test systems.
  7. Keeping records: Maintaining production records, logbooks, and test data.

Please Note: This position requires a government security clearance. Applicants must be US citizens for consideration.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience testing hardware (Analog, Digital, and Power).
  • Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) measurement equipment and techniques.

  • Understanding of VSWR and Noise interactions with RF Components.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Experience troubleshooting to the component level.
