Job summary

SRCTec, LLC is seeking a capable Electronics Test Technician for 1st shift in Syracuse, NY. You’ll test, troubleshoot, and rework radar and electronic warfare subsystems, adhering to test procedures and ensuring quality in daily manufacturing operations.

You will set up and use DMMs, spectrum/ network analyzers, signal generators, RF meters, and oscilloscopes, with opportunities to advance in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in related field with 3+ years related experience.
  • Intermediate electronics testing background; basic understanding of RF fundamentals.
  • Ability to accurately set up and utilize commercial test equipment (DMMs, spectrum/network analyzers, signal generators, RF meters, oscilloscopes).
  • Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office; Linux command line a plus.
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to established test procedures and production processes.
  • Set up and utilize electronic test equipment (DMMs, spectrum and network analyzers, signal generators, RF power meters, oscilloscopes).
  • Execute comprehensive validation tests of radar and electronic warfare systems; test circuit card assemblies and system sub-assemblies.
  • Identify and document discrepancies during the test process; log troubleshoot and rework actions.
  • Participate in inventory and pack-out operations to facilitate product shipment.
  • Facilitate the manufacturing process as a key contributing member of the production team.

Job description

SRCTec, LLC is currently seeking a experienced Full-time Electronics Test Technician to support manufacturing operations on 1st shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) at our location in Syracuse, NY. The selected candidate will test, troubleshoot, and rework production electronic warfare and radar systems, sub-assemblies, and components.

What You’ll Do
  • Adhere to established test procedures and production processes to support daily manufacturing operations.
  • Set up and utilize electronic test equipment (digital multimeters, spectrum and network analyzers, signal generators, RF power meters, oscilloscopes, etc.).

What You’ll Bring

  • Intermediate computer comprehension skills, to include the Microsoft Office suite; Linux command line experience is a plus.
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $29/hour - $32/hour. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
