MARS Solutions Group is seeking an experienced Production Test Technician for an East Setauket, NY site. You will perform testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and verification of electronic components and assemblies in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must read and understand written instructions, drawings and electrical schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities are required.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
• Experience working in fast-paced manufacturing environments and meeting production targets.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, operate, and troubleshoot test equipment.
• Perform functional testing and verification of assemblies per procedures.
• Read blueprints and technical drawings and follow work instructions.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve testing issues and defects.
• Perform rework on components or assemblies as needed based on test results.
• Record test results, document findings, and prepare technical reports.
• Assist with selecting and maintaining specialized test equipment.
• Follow safety procedures when using tools and equipment.
• Access work instructions and document test results via computer systems.
• Collaborate with teammates to communicate findings and resolve issues.
• Maintain quality standards and adapt to changing production priorities.
