Job summary

Systems Application & Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Technician, Maintenance II at the Eglin AFB location near Miramar Beach, FL. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repair, and operation of complex radar and electronic systems to support DoD missions.

You will work with RF components, test equipment, and mission-critical instrumentation, interfacing with military and civilian customers. A DoD clearance is required, and the position offers strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in electronics or tech cert and 3+ years' experience.
• Radar systems experience is required.
• Troubleshooting, repair, alignment, and operation concepts for complex electronics.
• Understanding of computer controlled instrumentation and analog/digital interface equipment.
• Knowledge of RF components and ground-based radar subsystems (transmitters, receivers, servo systems) is desirable.
• Current driver's license and ability to be insured for company vehicles.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance; maintain clearance.
• Background check including SSN, driving record, and criminal history.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, alignment, and operation concepts for complex electronic equipment.
• Operate and troubleshoot computer controlled instrumentation, as well as analog and digital interface equipment.
• Utilize test equipment: spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, power meters, frequency counters; RF components.
• Interface with military and civilian test customers to ensure mission success.
• Other duties may include safety, security, PIPR, and TMDE.
